The Ministry of Internal Affairs has established new standards for license plates, which state that vehicle license plates will have either two or three digits, with one or two always being zeros. The price for license plates for individuals starts at 250,000 drams and can go up to 8 million drams.
This was announced at a press conference by Ruslan Marandyan, head of the legal department of the Ministry. He noted that the new standards allow for Latin letters to be the same, repeating, or different.
“The minimum threshold for high-demand license plates starts at 60,000 drams and ends at 8 million,” he said.
