Deputy Ministers of Economy of Armenia Narek Hovakimyan and Lilya Sirakanyan met with representatives of the e-commerce platform Wildberries on July 30. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of e-commerce in Armenia, support for entrepreneurs, simplification of procedures, and further directions for cooperation.
Representatives of Wildberries emphasized the importance of Armenia's role in the prospects for the development of e-commerce in the region. The meeting specifically addressed the issues of sellers whose products were affected by recent events related to Wildberries' logistics infrastructure. Wildberries representatives stated that the company has already begun calculations, and the mechanisms and approaches for compensation and support are in the final stages.
