The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that high-demand license plates containing the digit "0" and one or more repeating digits combined with the same or different Latin letters can now be purchased without an auction.
The changes were made based on an assessment of demand among citizens.
"Research has shown that there is high demand among citizens for license plates containing the digit '0' as well as one or more repeating digits combined with the same or different combinations of Latin letters," the statement said.
According to the new rules, the cost of such license plates will range from 250,000 to 8 million drams, depending on the combination of digits and letters.
These changes will create a complete legal framework for providing new combinations of high-demand license plates, making the process of acquiring them accessible and orderly.
