The complex ceased operations in early July when the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party was arrested. The city hall announced the termination of the land lease agreement with Tsarukyan:
Tsarukyan had leased the complex's territory until 2065, but now the city hall has taken over not only the land but also the buildings constructed on it:
Arman Piroyan, director of the «Multi Wellness» company, stated that his company cannot continue its business as the city hall has not returned their property and investments:
By the end of the day, the Prosecutor General's office announced that the Ararat brandy-wine-vodka factory belonging to Tsarukyan's family has been transferred to state management:
