The environmental organization «My Forest Armenia» has become the beneficiary of the initiative «The Power of One Dram» in July. This initiative, aimed at supporting social, educational, and environmental projects, is now supporting the organization «My Forest Armenia», which implements large-scale reforestation and forest restoration programs in Armenia.
This year, especially ahead of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), participation in nature conservation programs is of particular importance. According to Tatevik Vardevanyan, head of the Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Programs Department at Idram and IDBank, increasing green spaces in our country is the responsibility of each of us.
“Today, sustainable development is no longer a choice but a necessity,” she emphasized. Within the framework of the initiative «The Power of One Dram», more than 52,000 trees have already been planted in various regions.
