Moody's rating agency has upgraded Armenia's sovereign rating outlook from "Stable" to "Positive", confirming the long-term rating at "Ba3" level. This decision was made by the agency yesterday, as reported by the Central Bank of Armenia.
The upgrade is based on several key factors, including a decrease in geopolitical and political risks, improved medium-term economic growth prospects, and strengthened structural potential of the economy.
For 2026-2027, Moody's expects the economy to grow by 5-5.5%, driven by stable domestic demand, increased investments, and expanded government spending.
