Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is set to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to a report from the government press service citing TASS.
It is reported that Mishustin has planned several bilateral meetings within the framework of the 'Innoprom' international industrial exhibition, which will be attended by heads of government from EAEU countries. It is noted that negotiations with Prime Minister Pashinyan will take place in this context.
Additionally, the Russian Prime Minister will hold separate meetings with the Prime Ministers of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
So far, there has been no information from the Armenian government regarding the meeting.
At the initiative of the Armenian side, a phone conversation took place in early July between Nikol Pashinyan and Mikhail Mishustin. At the end, the parties issued a similar statement, stating that 'the cooperation between Russia and Armenia in trade, economic, scientific, technological, cultural, and humanitarian areas was discussed.' The conversation occurred against the backdrop of restrictions imposed by Russia on the import of Armenian goods and the tension in Armenian-Russian relations.
Pashinyan and Mishustin last met in the summer of 2025 in Altai during an international environmental forum.
