Mesrop Arakelyan, co-founder of the "Country for Life" party, stated that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's policy has led to a 12% decline in Armenia's agriculture for the first time in 15 years.
According to him, the authorities continue to assure that everything is fine in the agricultural sector, but official statistics show that in the first half of 2026, the decline was 12%.
Arakelyan noted that such figures have not been recorded for over 15 years, and if the situation does not change, the problems in agriculture will only worsen.
