Converse Bank has been awarded the title of Armenia’s Best Digital Bank for Consumers by the prestigious international organization Euromoney, recognized as the best in one of the key categories at the awards ceremony held in London on July 16.
The award was received by the CEO of Converse Bank, Chairman of the Board Grant Hakobyan. He stated: “The prestigious Euromoney award and the high evaluation of Converse Bank's activities are the result of our team's consistent work. The core of Converse Bank's digitalization strategy is not the technology, but the person — the customer. We are consistently transforming both the financial experience of our customers and the internal processes of the Bank, creating digital solutions that provide real value, making services more personalized, faster, simpler, and safer.”
Converse Bank has received the award for its achievements in the digitalization of banking services and their delivery. As part of the digital transformation strategy, the personalized Converse Mobile experience has been implemented for the first time in Armenia, allowing customers to fully become bank clients through a digital flow, activate and manage C360 service packages, apply for loans, make savings, payments, and transfers, link digital wallets, and make QR payments, as well as manage the app's structure and use different color modes according to the C360 package.
At the same time, it has been noted that all this is carried out with seamless operation and quality experience, which is evaluated by the app users based on CES and CSAT metrics. In the process of developing the app and enriching it with new solutions, the Bank has always emphasized the importance of maintaining and enhancing a high level of security: Converse Bank was the first in Armenia to implement the Trusted Device tool, as well as the biometric identification mechanism in the loan process to prevent fraud.
Along with the development of digital platforms, the Bank also emphasizes the importance of developing advisory and support centers as an integral part of modern banking. In July 2025, the first Converse Next branch concept was launched in Armenia, where financial consulting and the digital experience of service delivery create a new synergy between digital platforms and physical branches, positioning the branch as a center for non-traditional financial consulting and mentoring in digital banking.
The Bank also has a contact center operating 24/7, which also serves as a rapid resolution center for questions and issues related to the use of digital tools.
A new digitized loan application process has also been implemented in the bank, significantly reducing the time required for loan processing. Customer relationships, including contractual processes, are mainly carried out in digital format, and in Converse Next, no paper processes are used at all.
The Bank notes that the work on the development, expansion, and implementation of innovative solutions in the field of digital services and their delivery will continue.
The Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
