A delegation from KV Group of the Sultanate of Oman visited the Food Safety Inspection Body to discuss the export procedures for Armenian fresh fruits and vegetables from the Republic of Armenia to the Sultanate of Oman.
The Deputy Head of the Inspection Body, Grigor Mkrtchyan, while discussing the requirements for exporting seasonal Armenian fruits and vegetables such as peaches, apricots, and tomatoes, as well as successful experiences of exporting fruits and vegetables to other countries, provided comprehensive information about the capabilities of the Republican Veterinary and Phytosanitary Laboratory Service Center (RVPLSC), whose research results enable successful exports of phytosanitary products that meet the requirements of the importing country's market (for example, the United Arab Emirates).
The parties agreed to take effective steps to develop the opportunities for exporting Armenian fruits and vegetables to the Omani market within the framework of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Oman.
