Ireland is allocating a new bilateral support package to Ukraine amounting to 125 million euros for 2026.
As reported by Report, referring to the Irish government website, the intention to allocate the funds was announced by Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Helen McEntee.
According to information, this support includes 100 million euros for the supply of priority non-lethal military equipment to Ukraine, as well as 25 million euros to support the restoration and protection of critical infrastructure, particularly the energy system, ahead of winter.
It is noteworthy that the Irish Prime Minister arrived in Kyiv this morning.
Ireland is among the European countries that have accepted a large number of Ukrainian refugees. Since February 2022, Dublin has also provided Kyiv with over 550 million euros in aid.
