In the past month, a second liquefied natural gas carrier has been attacked in the Hormuz Strait. This was reported by Euronews. The UK Maritime Trade Operations reported that a projectile struck the aforementioned vessel near the coast of Oman. Security consulting firms Vanguard Tech and Marisks identified the ship as a gas carrier of the GasLog company. The incident occurred as the vessel was exiting the strait. Fortunately, the crew was unharmed, and the ship is ready to continue its voyage. However, it is still unclear who the liquefied natural gas on board was intended for and whether the incident has affected supplies.
