Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced that negotiations between Iran and Oman regarding the security of navigation in the Hormuz Strait are in the final stage.
According to him, the parties are discussing mechanisms to ensure the smooth flow of international shipping through the strait.
The Hormuz Strait is considered one of the world's most important energy routes, as a significant portion of the oil exports from the Persian Gulf passes through this waterway.
