Today, a public hearing was held at the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia regarding the government's decision project to recognize public interest in 100% shares of the Electric Networks of Armenia. The public hearing was led by Minister of Territorial Administration David Khudatyan.
Participants included the temporary manager of the Electric Networks of Armenia, Romanos Petrosyan, member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission Sergey Aghinyan, heads and representatives of energy companies, media representatives, and citizens.
Minister Khudatyan presented the content of the project. He emphasized that the basis for recognizing public interest is the vital public significance of electricity distribution, uninterrupted electricity supply to the population, normal functioning of social and strategic facilities, stability of the energy system, and protection of consumer rights.
No proposals or comments regarding the project were submitted by the participants.
