On July 16, a working meeting was held at the Public Services Regulatory Commission, during which a number of priority issues related to the regulation of water supply and drainage, as well as irrigation water supply, were discussed. This was reported by the RRC.
During the meeting, the licensing process of the "Water Extraction" LLC was addressed, as well as the progress of works and implementation of planned projects in the water supply and drainage system carried out by the Water Committee in 2026. Issues related to the methodology of the tariff process, monitoring mechanisms in the sector, and legal and practical issues regarding the need for additional agreements to existing lease contracts were also discussed.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the discussed issues, emphasized the importance of continuing sectoral cooperation, and reached an agreement to continue work to ensure the effective implementation of existing regulations and improve the quality of water supply and drainage services.
