In Armenia, the number of registered producers and importers of goods subject to labeling increased by 7% in 2025, while the number of violations decreased by approximately 56%. This is stated in the report on the development of the labeling system in the Eurasian Economic Union.
The implementation of the labeling system helps protect the domestic market from illegal products and unscrupulous participants. Expanding the coverage of labeled groups of goods ensures traceability of more products and provides consumers with reliable information about the goods.
For example, in Belarus, after the introduction of labeling, the number of legally imported shoes increased more than threefold, and dairy products by more than 70%.
