A member of the RPA executive body, Eduard Sharmazanov, wrote on his Facebook page: "Almost nothing remains of Armenia's sovereignty. The rulers of our country talk all day about strengthening sovereignty, but in reality, they are turning the state into a battlefield for external forces, weakening the sovereignty of the state.
Sharmazanov noted that the spiritual leader of Azerbaijan demands a fight against the Armenian Church, while the rulers of Armenia are unable to defend the sovereignty of the country:
"And after all this, these people still dare to talk about the independence and sovereignty of Armenia. Armenia is becoming a place for the satisfaction of the ambitions of external centers and possible clashes," he wrote:
