Discussion on Exporting Fruits and Vegetables from Armenia to Oman

Possibilities for Exporting Armenian Fruits and Vegetables to Oman Discussed

A delegation from Oman's "KV Group" visited the Food Safety Inspection Body to discuss the procedures for exporting fresh Armenian fruits and vegetables from the Republic of Armenia to the Sultanate of Oman. This was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Body.

The Deputy Head of the Inspection Body, Grigor Mkrtchyan, discussed the requirements for exporting seasonal Armenian fruits and vegetables such as peaches, apricots, and tomatoes, as well as successful export experiences to other countries. He provided comprehensive information about the capabilities of the Republican Center for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Laboratory Services (RCVPLS), whose research results allow for successful exports that meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country (for example, the United Arab Emirates).

The parties agreed to take effective steps to develop the opportunities for exporting Armenian fruits and vegetables to the Omani market within the framework of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Oman.
