The Armenia Stock Exchange has been awarded the prestigious “25 Years of Excellence – Capital Market Development Armenia 2026” award at the Global Banking & Finance Review Awards 2026, receiving international recognition for its 25-year contribution to the establishment and development of Armenia’s capital market.
The award is presented by the UK-based prestigious financial publication Global Banking & Finance Review, which has been recognizing best practices, innovative solutions, and organizations making significant contributions to financial sector development since 2010.
The “25 Years of Excellence – Capital Market Development Armenia 2026” award symbolizes the approximately 25-year journey of Armenia’s capital market development, highlighting the pivotal role of Armenia Stock Exchange in building modern, transparent market infrastructures aligned with international standards.
- played a key role in the establishment and development of Armenia’s capital market,
- facilitated the attraction of billions of Armenian drams in financing for the Armenian economy,
- brought together dozens of issuers, investment companies, and financial institutions within a single, regulated, and transparent market,

It is noteworthy that this international recognition coincides with the 25th anniversary year of Armenia Stock Exchange. In May 2026, the Exchange celebrated its 25th anniversary with a commemorative event that brought together representatives of Armenian and international government institutions, financial organizations, exchanges, central securities depositories, international partners, and capital market participants.
Today, Armenia Stock Exchange continues implementing strategic initiatives focused on the digitalization of services, the development of market infrastructure, the introduction of new financial instruments, and the continuous improvement of the investment environment.
