Armenia and Cyprus Discuss Prospects for Cooperation in Agriculture and Environmental Protection

The Armenian Ambassador to Cyprus, Inna Torgomyan, met with the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment of Cyprus, Maria Panayiotou. During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture and environmental protection were discussed, as well as the possibilities for institutionalizing bilateral cooperation in these areas. Details of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), scheduled to take place in October in Yerevan, and planned events within its framework were also addressed.
