On July 31, Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia Gevorg Kocharyan met with a delegation led by Zachary Barter, head of the U.S. Embassy's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs in Armenia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in combating money laundering and terrorist financing, touched on ongoing reforms in the Republic of Armenia in this area, and explored opportunities for further development of legal and institutional capacity.
The parties confirmed their mutual readiness to continue joint efforts to enhance the effectiveness of combating financial crimes.
