YEREVAN, July 17. /ARKA/. The possibilities for exporting fresh Armenian vegetables, flowers, and mineral water to the Emirati market were discussed yesterday by Armenia's Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Hojoyan and a delegation of UAE business representatives.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the parties also examined the organization of the export process, logistics routes, and issues related to phytosanitary requirements.
An agreement was reached to continue cooperation, maintain business ties, and develop practical directions for further interaction through information exchange, thereby promoting the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and the UAE.
Deputy Minister Hojoyan, the UAE ambassador to Armenia Nariman Al Mulla, and representatives of the business delegation reviewed the production and export capabilities, packaging infrastructure, cold storage, and logistics in several greenhouse farms.
Amid restrictions on Armenian products in Russia, Armenia has expanded support for exporters in alternative markets, compensating part of the transportation costs and customs duties for supplies to the EU, the UK, and Canada.
