Grigory Karasin: Russia should calmly respond to Pashinyan's emotional statements

Governments should respond calmly to statements

Grigory Karasin, the chairman of the Federation Council's Committee on International Affairs, commented on the statements made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, noting that Russia should respond to them calmly:

“Sometimes, unfortunately, Pashinyan makes excessively emotional, energetic statements that he probably regrets later. In any case, life consists of more than just statements, so we should respond to this calmly,” said Karasin.

He also pointed out that Pashinyan's statement that “if the issue of restrictions on the export of Armenian products to Russia is not resolved quickly, it could be the beginning of the end of the Eurasian Economic Union” is overly emotional.
