Tsarukyan Hotel Complex Fails to Pay Taxes

The complex has not paid 78.4 million drams in taxes

The Tsarukyan Hotel Complex in Tsakhkadzor has failed to meet its tax obligations, amounting to approximately 78.4 million drams. The Armenian State Revenue Committee reported that the company providing hotel and restaurant services is concealing its tax liabilities.

The complex is using distorted data regarding salaries and sales turnover to evade taxes. From 2023 to 2026, the company did not calculate and pay taxes totaling about 78.4 million drams.

Specifically, in the monthly calculations for income tax and social contributions submitted to the tax authority for 2023-2026, the funds allocated for employee salaries were reported as approximately 190.2 million drams, while the actual amount exceeded 340.4 million drams.

Furthermore, it was established that the actual turnover of food services from January 1, 2026, to June 15, 2026, was around 237.5 million drams, whereas the company's tax revenues for the same period were about 136.5 million drams.

As a result of the operational and investigative activities, a report of a clear crime was sent to the Main Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling.
