FlyOne Armenia, an Armenian airline, has opened direct flights between Yerevan and Tashkent. The launch of the new flights was celebrated with a ceremony at Tashkent International Airport. Flights on the new route will operate on a charter basis twice a week — on Wednesdays and Sundays — using Airbus A320 aircraft:
This new route marks an important step in expanding aviation links between Uzbekistan and Armenia. FlyOne Armenia is already the second Armenian carrier to begin direct flights on this route, following Shirak Avia, which launched regular flights on June 2:
The introduction of a second carrier on the route will increase passenger choice and promote the development of tourism and business connections:
