YEREVAN, July 23. /ARKA/. The European Central Bank (ECB) decided at its Thursday meeting to keep three key interest rates unchanged, according to the regulator's statement.
The deposit rate remains at 2.25%, the main refinancing operations rate at 2.40%, and the marginal lending rate at 2.65%.
The ECB noted that uncertainty remains high, and the full impact of the energy shock on inflation has yet to manifest. The regulator stated that it will continue to carefully assess incoming economic and financial data, and decisions on monetary policy will be made from meeting to meeting.
According to the ECB, the current forecast for energy prices remains close to the baseline scenario presented in the June macroeconomic forecasts, despite ongoing volatility amid the conflict in the Middle East.
