The Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory has been handed over to state management. According to a decision by the Anti-Corruption Court, the factory is now under the management of the Republic of Armenia, as reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
In October 2023, the Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit in the Anti-Corruption Court against Gagik Tsarukyan and related individuals for the confiscation of illegally obtained property.
The Prosecutor's Office reminds that the lawsuit for confiscation of illegally obtained property demands the return of several dozen real estate and movable properties from Gagik Tsarukyan and related individuals, with a total monetary claim of 105 billion 865 million 865 thousand drams.
Gagik Tsarukyan has been in custody since July 7, and his large companies have been sealed off.
