Work on the 21st package of sanctions against Russia continues, with unresolved issues remaining. This was stated on July 13 by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kallas.
“Today we expect to reach an agreement on the listing of 250 individuals and organizations, and at the same time we are working on the 21st package of sanctions, for which we still do not have agreement.
This is the largest number of inclusions in the sanctions lists we have implemented so far. It is also a response to recent attacks by Russia on the civilian population,” Kallas told reporters in Brussels upon arrival at the meeting of EU foreign ministers.
