EU foreign ministers are set to agree on the establishment of a new EU mission for Armenia aimed at combating hybrid threats, announced EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell:
“We will also reach an agreement on a new partnership mission for Armenia to combat hybrid threats and foreign information manipulation and interference that they are actually facing there,” Borrell said during a press conference in Brussels today:
Sources from Azatutyun earlier reported that Armenia's foreign minister urged EU countries to accelerate measures to support Armenia against the backdrop of recent Russian restrictions:
“It was a positive and important meeting to counter Russia's hybrid and trade attacks,” said one of the European diplomats present at the meetings:
