During the break of the inaugural session of the 9th convocation of the National Assembly, Edgar Ghazaryan explained to journalists the reason behind the enthusiastic reception and applause from the CP deputies. "I have worked with most of them, and I believe their enthusiasm was a result of that work. They are my clients. Additionally, I have an internal faction within the CP," Ghazaryan said.
He added that among his clients are Arthur Hovhannisyan and Rustam Bakoyan, regarding whom criminal proceedings have been initiated.
Ghazaryan also responded to the proposal from the CP's candidate for the position of NA president to "let's work politely and constructively," stating that "the main agenda is to remove Nikol Pashinyan."
