The startup aims to enhance the U.S. military's cyber capabilities

A group of former DOGE employees has secured funding for a startup aimed at enhancing the U.S. military's cyber capabilities through artificial intelligence. The startup, named "Cathedral," was established in recent months with the goal of securing government contracts and developing U.S. cyber capabilities in both defensive and offensive directions. According to sources, these capabilities are intended to be used against strategic rivals such as China. The company plans to acquire a data center or collaborate with a provider that has such infrastructure to provide the high-performance computing power necessary for cyber operations. The co-founders of the company are former DOGE employees Gavin Kliger, Luke Faritora, Marco Elez, and Jack Stein. In recent weeks, "Cathedral" successfully completed a $160 million funding round, bringing the company's valuation to $1.4 billion.
