On June 19, 2026, the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia submitted a petition to the Ministry of Environment and the State Nature Reserve "Sevan" to take measures to terminate the contract for the provision of construction rights for a state-owned land plot of 1215 sq.m, concluded on July 3, 2008, between the State Nature Reserve "Sevan" and a private company.
According to information from the State Nature Reserve "Sevan", the specified area is completely submerged, and the contract for construction rights is registered in the reserve as terminated.
At the same time, it was found that the state registration of the termination of the contract had not been carried out by the Cadastre Committee.
Based on the petition from the Prosecutor General's Office, the State Nature Reserve "Sevan" submitted an application to the Cadastre Committee to carry out the state registration of the termination of rights arising from the construction rights.
According to the certificate provided by the Cadastre Committee on July 21, 2026, the rights arising from the construction contract for the 1215 sq.m land plot have been terminated by state registration.
