"Dear compatriots, my dear Kotayk residents,
In connection with taking on the mandate of a Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, I am stopping my work as the Governor of Kotayk Province of Armenia.

It was difficult, but behind me was a team, hard work, and mutual respect, which resulted in our success.
I sincerely thank the residents of Kotayk Province for their trust, support, and cooperation. Your issues and suggestions have always been and will continue to be the basis of my work, and the progress of the province is my main goal.
I also thank all the community leaders of Kotayk Province, members of councils, and representatives of state and local self-government bodies for their effective cooperation, constructive collaboration, and responsible approach.
Of course, special thanks to the entire team of the governor's office for their dedicated work, high professional responsibility, and the many programs and working days we have carried out together.
From now on, I will continue to serve our state and my beloved Kotayk residents in the National Assembly in a new capacity.
Thank you all for your trust, support, and the path we have walked together," wrote Sahakyan:
