The Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit with the Anti-Corruption Court to declare the auction regarding a 0.02-hectare land plot conducted by the Chambarak community invalid, within the framework of its authority to protect state interests. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
By the ruling of the Anti-Corruption Court dated July 21, 2026, the Prosecutor General's lawsuit was granted.
The ruling declared the auction conducted by the Chambarak community invalid, and as a consequence of the auction's invalidity, the sales contract for the land plot signed between the Chambarak community and an individual on May 31, 2013, and the state registration of ownership rights based on the contract were also declared invalid.
After the ruling enters into legal force, the 0.02-hectare land plot will be returned to the Chambarak community.
