"We cannot export flowers from Armenia, and we are forced to sell them at three times lower than the cost price," says Hambardzum Vardanyan, head of the "Rose Field" greenhouse:
"For a long time, greenhouses producing flowers have been unable to export flowers to Russia, and the authorities insist that they have found an alternative to Russia, exporting flowers, as well as fruits and vegetables, to Europe. However, we cannot send our flowers to Europe, we cannot find even one person or company willing to buy our flowers in the European market," he noted:
Vardanyan added, "We cannot export flowers to Europe; we have found ourselves in a very bad situation." He mentioned that various countries, such as Ukraine, the Netherlands, and Poland, have rejected their proposals:
"We are selling flowers at three times lower than the cost price; we have loans, we have expenses, and I have more than 100 employees. Last month, I barely managed to pay salaries," he said:
