Boeing Reduces Net Loss and Increases Revenue by 8% in Q2

Boeing significantly reduced its net loss and increased revenue

American company Boeing Co., one of the largest manufacturers of aviation, space, and military technology, significantly reduced its net loss and recorded moderate revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026. At the same time, the adjusted loss exceeded market forecasts, while revenue surpassed expectations, according to Interfax.

From April to June, the company's net loss was $428 million, or $0.67 per share, compared to $612 million, or $0.92 per share, a year earlier.

The adjusted loss per share decreased from $1.24 to $0.76.

Revenue increased by 8%, reaching $24.56 billion.

Analysts surveyed by LSEG had forecast an adjusted loss per share of $0.30 and revenue of $24.25 billion.

The civil aviation division's revenue grew by 8% in the second quarter to $11.75 billion, while deliveries increased by 14%, reaching 171 aircraft. Boeing received 246 new orders, including from Korean Air, Delta Air Lines, and SMBC Capital.

As of the end of June, the company's order portfolio was valued at $597 billion, including more than 6,200 aircraft.

Sales in the defense and space technology division rose by 13% to $7.48 billion from April to June. Meanwhile, revenue in the services sector increased by 1%, totaling $5.34 billion.
