Consultative Meeting Held with the Head of the BGT

A consultative working group meeting formed under the head of the Armenian Environmental and Natural Resources Inspectorate was held. The meeting was chaired by the head of the BGT, Hovhannes Martirosyan. According to a statement released by the BGT, one of the key topics of the meeting was the presentation of the digitization concept approved by the Council for the Management of Information Systems of Armenia. Hovhannes Martirosyan emphasized that digital transformation is not only a technical process but also a strategic tool for enhancing the transparency and efficiency of control functions. During the discussion, several proposals aimed at implementing modern technological solutions were presented. The importance of automated systems for data collection and analysis was highlighted, which will allow for a more responsive reaction to environmental challenges. The next agenda item concerned the participation of the Inspectorate in the international COP17 conference dedicated to biodiversity. The formats of BGT's representation at the conference and the possibilities for involvement and active participation of the working group members were discussed. Summarizing the meeting, the head of the BGT thanked the members of the consultative group for their active participation and professional observations, assuring that all constructive proposals voiced would be taken into account in the next phase of organizing processes.
