The government of the Republic of Armenia has approved a decision to build cumulative parking lots at the Bagratashen and Agarak customs points. The head of the State Revenue Committee, Eduard Akopyan, noted that this project is important for stimulating and simplifying exports.
He emphasized that the cumulative parking lots should be located no more than 20 km from the customs points and have an area of at least 3000 sq. m.
Akopyan also mentioned that the parking lots should have asphalt or concrete surfaces, road markings, an electronic management system, and surveillance cameras.
“All of this should be integrated with our digital customs systems,” Akopyan said.
