The government has made a decision allowing individuals in formal education to become beneficiaries of the self-employment promotion program.
The decision clarifies the requirements for organizations with which public offer contracts must be signed. Specifically, it is stipulated that the organization must have conducted business training and business support activities for at least two years within the last ten years, which must be confirmed by relevant documents (contract, acceptance act, or other supporting documents).
The decision proposes that the program beneficiary must make a note on the platform at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the National Security Service, the Criminal Executive Service of the Republic of Armenia, the Enforcement Service, and in such bodies where a restricted access information regime applies, stating that they do not engage in employment activities and give consent for the specified information to be verified.
This proposal is based on the fact that, according to the established regulations, if a beneficiary wishes to participate in the program, they must be registered on the e-work.am platform, where, after making a note, the information regarding the compliance of that person with the program's requirements is automatically reflected on the platform through the interoperability of databases.
The decision proposes that the grant will be provided in the amount of 30% of the funds specified in the business plan after the beneficiary's investment is confirmed, and the investments can be monetary or in kind (fixed assets, provision of space).
