Apple Reports 27% Increase in Net Profit

Apple's net profit for the third quarter reached $29.79 billion

Apple reported a 27% increase in net profit for the third quarter of the 2026 financial year, with revenue rising by 16%. Despite achieving record figures for this quarter, forecasts for the current quarter are weaker than market expectations due to supply chain issues.

In the quarter ending in June, Apple’s net profit reached $29.79 billion, compared to $23.43 billion the previous year. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to $2.02, while revenue increased to $109.42 billion, exceeding analysts' forecasts.

Revenue from iPhone sales grew by 22% to $54.25 billion. Mac computer sales increased by 29%, while sales of wearables and accessories rose by 6.5%, although iPad sales decreased by 6%.

Revenue from the services segment (App Store, Apple Music, Apple Pay, iCloud) grew by 12% to $30.74 billion. Regionally, sales increased by 22% in China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), 22% in Europe, 11% in the Americas, and 13% in Japan.

The company forecasts that revenue will grow by 9-11% in the fourth financial quarter, while analysts expected around 12% growth. The Apple board of directors also approved a quarterly dividend payment of $0.27 per share. Since the beginning of the year, the company’s market capitalization has increased by 22.7%.
