From July 20-21, a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetyan held a series of working meetings in Italy. The meetings were attended by Armenia's Ambassador to Italy Vladimir Karapetyan and the director of the Investment Support Center, Gohar Abajyan.
On July 20, in Venice, the delegation met with the leadership of the CONFAAPI association of entrepreneurs. They discussed opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between Armenia and Italy, promoting Armenian products in European markets, and strengthening business ties between the two countries.
On July 21, during meetings in Rome with representatives from the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, the Fruitimprese association, and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), they discussed cooperation in the agri-food sector, the entry of Armenian products into the Italian market, participation in international exhibitions, and the development of Armenian-Italian business relations.
The parties agreed to continue working contacts to move the discussed initiatives into practical implementation.
