Armenia and US Representatives Discuss Agenda of Armenian-American Relations

The representatives discussed cooperation issues between Armenia and the USA

The Permanent Representative of Armenia to the OSCE, Andranik Ovanisyan, and the newly appointed head of the US mission to the OSCE, Darrell Owens, exchanged views on the agenda of Armenian-American relations.

According to the press service of the Armenian permanent representation, the interlocutors discussed regional events, including the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project.

It is noted that during the meeting, hope was expressed for further cooperation aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

Meanwhile, the US mission to the OSCE noted that Owens stated that the Trump administration tirelessly worked on establishing peace in Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as creating opportunities for prosperity and enhancing security.

"I look forward to working with Ambassador Ovanisyan, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the OSCE, in the process of building a reformed OSCE that will promote trade development and strengthen economic ties between the countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia," said the American diplomat.
