The U.S. Army Just Called China’s Bluff in the Rare Earth War

The U.S. Army has launched a new program for processing rare earth materials

Recently, the U.S. Army selected REalloys to build and operate rare earth processing facilities on an American military base. This is the first time the Army has entered into such a contract. REalloys secured $100 million in financing, allowing it to execute its plans.

The company has signed agreements for the supply of large quantities of rare earth materials essential for the defense sector. REalloys also entered into a strategic partnership with a South Korean magnet manufacturer, marking a significant step for the company.

All these developments occur against the backdrop of the U.S. imposing restrictions on the use of Chinese-origin rare earth materials, which could impact military systems.
