YEREVAN, July 28. /ARKA/. Ameriabank's retail loan portfolio has grown by 11% since the beginning of 2026 and exceeded 800 billion drams as of June 30, reported Arman Barseghyan, the bank's director of retail banking:
"The bank's mortgage portfolio increased by 12% during the specified period and for the first time exceeded 400 billion drams. Over the past five years, our loan portfolio has grown on average by 30% per year," Barseghyan said:
He noted that the main growth of the retail loan portfolio was provided by mortgage and consumer loans. According to Barseghyan, the share of problem loans remains insignificant:
Commenting on the slowdown in mortgage lending, Barseghyan stated that he does not consider it a problem, as real estate acquisition in Armenia remains attractive:
