The Cyber Police of Armenia warns about fake pages and online fraud.
“Fake pages are still circulating on social networks under the name of one of the supermarkets, offering citizens to participate in a lottery, receive a gift, or take advantage of a special offer.
The purpose of the fake page is to seize citizens' personal and banking data and steal money from them.
We urge:
- not to click on suspicious links,
- not to provide bank card details, passwords, and one-time confirmation codes,
- to verify the authenticity of the page before taking any action,” the message states.
