Hidden Tax Object of 1.3 Billion Drams Discovered in Large Shopping Center

The Tax Committee Reveals a Major Tax Violation

The Tax Committee's investigation and operational intelligence department has uncovered a hidden tax object amounting to 1.3 billion drams.

During the investigation, it was found that a company operating in a shopping center in the Kotayk region rents out storage spaces, and the income generated from these is not reflected in the tax calculations.

According to the same data, the organizer of the trading venue also collects additional cash amounts that are not documented in accordance with the law.

The Tax Committee has undertaken comprehensive operational measures, resulting in the confirmation of the obtained data.

It was revealed that the company concealed around 1.3 billion drams in tax objects, resulting in a loss of approximately 492 million drams to the state.

The Tax Committee urges shopping centers and their tax-paying entities to refrain from including obviously false data in their tax reports.
