VTB (Armenia) offers businesses three deposit products to manage surplus funds

The bank has introduced deposit products with different terms for corporate clients.

VTB (Armenia) said it is offering corporate clients three deposit products: “Классический бизнес,” “Универсальный бизнес,” and “Пополняемый бизнес.” The bank said the products are designed to help companies place temporarily surplus liquidity in line with their financial objectives.

Funds can be placed in Armenian drams, Russian rubles and euros. “Классический бизнес” is aimed at companies willing to place money for a fixed term without adding funds or withdrawing money before maturity.

According to the bank, “Универсальный бизнес” is intended for businesses that need more flexibility, allowing them to earn income while retaining the ability to manage funds in line with current financial needs. “Пополняемый бизнес” is designed for companies planning to gradually increase the amount placed, with an unlimited number of top-ups allowed.

Yevgeny Motovilov, Deputy CEO and Chairman of the Directorate at VTB (Armenia), said corporate clients need not only to preserve liquidity but also to use surplus cash efficiently. He said the bank’s deposit range allows companies to choose between a fixed-term placement and a more flexible format for managing funds.

For all three deposits, the minimum placement amount is 200,000 Armenian drams, 400 euros or 20,000 rubles. Terms range from 30 to 730 days. The interest rate depends on the deposit currency and whether interest is paid monthly or at maturity. The maximum rate is 9.7% per annum for funds placed in the national currency with interest paid at the end of the term, with an interest yield of 9.27%.

Detailed terms are available on the VTB (Armenia) website, at any branch, or through the Contact Center at 87 87. The activities of CJSC “Bank VTB (Armenia)” are regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
