VTB Armenia Bank, with financial support from Newmag Publishing, has presented to readers a new Armenian edition of Alexander Dumas' famous novel 'The Three Musketeers'. The book launch took place during the Newmag Summerfest 2026 book festival. A distinctive feature of this publication is that the novel has been translated into Armenian directly from the French original for the first time. This has allowed for the maximum preservation of the author's stylistic characteristics, the artistic uniqueness of the work, and its ideological integrity, presenting the novel to Armenian readers as closely as possible to the original.
“By supporting initiatives aimed at the development of culture, education, and reading, the Bank continues to contribute to the implementation of projects that promote the preservation and popularization of world literary heritage among Armenian readers,” said Ara Avagyan, General Director and Chairman of the Board of VTB Armenia Bank.
“Dumas' style is distinguished by its expressiveness, vivid artistic imagery, and subtle humor. Our main goal during the new translation was to preserve these characteristics so that Armenian readers can feel and perceive the novel as it was intended by the author,” noted Artak Aleksanyan, Director of Newmag Publishing.
The new Armenian edition of 'The Three Musketeers' will soon be available in all major bookstores across the republic.
