Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has not ruled out that in the case of a modular nuclear power plant, the Russian model may be chosen from several options presented.
"We have stated that we do not consider any model impossible; we need the best offer, and we are looking for the best offer," Pashinyan told reporters after a government meeting.
According to him, the Armenian side has never said that the Russian proposal could be the best.
"But there are several factors: price, buyback period, construction period, financing schemes, etc. It is time to make a decision, but we are also working to extend the term of the existing nuclear power plant once again.
This issue should be taken out of the political context," Pashinyan said.
