On August 14, Vahan Kostanyan, the acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, met with Olena Kondratiuk, the Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, during a working visit to Kyiv.
The interlocutors discussed the prospects for the development of Armenia-Ukraine relations, emphasizing the need for further expansion of recently activated high-level contacts and strengthening the bilateral agenda.
Highlighting the role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in promoting bilateral relations, Vahan Kostanyan and Olena Kondratiuk stressed the importance of closer ties between the parliaments of the two countries, as well as deepening cooperation on multilateral parliamentary platforms.
They also exchanged views on issues of regional and international significance. The importance of promoting sustainable and lasting peace was emphasized.
